During these challenging times, access to food is more important than ever. Below is a list of food pantry, meal assistance, and grocery delivery resources available across metro Atlanta.
Food Pantry Resources
Atlanta Community Food Bank — to locate a food pantry near you, text FindFood or comida (in Spanish) to 888-976-2232.
United Way 2-1-1 — offering referrals to food pantries around the state of GA.
- Cobb Vineyard — 3206 Old 41 Hwy., Kennesaw, GA 30144. 11:00am–1:00pm, 1st & 3rd SAT of each month. Serves: Cobb.
- First Christian Church Food Pantry — 770-428-3125, 569 Frasier St. SE, Marietta, GA 30060. 10:00am–2:00pm MON. Must have proof of Cobb County residency; ID for each family member. Serves: Cobb.
- Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church — 4385 Lower Roswell Rd., Marietta, GA 30068. Food box provided by MUST Ministries. Families can get food once per month. 10:00am–2:00pm FRI. Serves: Cobb.
- Peace of Kindness — 7115 Oak Ridge Pkwy., Austell, GA 30168. Noon–5:00pm WED in June. Serves: Cobb.
- R.E.A.C.H. Community Development — 404-931-7858, 6212 B Memorial Dr., Stone Mountain, GA 30083. Call for appointments 9:00am–noon MON–THU. Serves: DeKalb.
- Solidarity Sandy Springs — 120 Northwoods Dr., Ste. 115, Sandy Springs, GA 30342. 11:00am–2:00pm TUE, THU, SAT. Serves: Fulton.
- Georgia Food & Resource Center — 770-946-0500. Must make an appointment. Serves: Henry.
- Emmanuel Community Church — 1400 Hwy. 212, Conyers, GA 30094. 6:30pm–7:30pm TUE; 10:30am–11:30am SAT. Serves: Rockdale.
- Family Community Center Neighborhood Rescue — 800-393-5240, 9:00am–5:00pm MON–FRI. Provides food and personal grooming items. Serves: Clayton, Fayette, Fulton, Henry, Spalding.
- Malachi's Storehouse — 770-455-6523, 4755 North Peachtree Rd., Dunwoody, GA 30338. 9:30am–3:00pm WED; drive-thru pantry. Serves: DeKalb, Fulton.
- Feed the People Atlanta, Inc. — 770-765-1174, 5755 Savannah River Rd., Riverdale, GA 30349. 5:00–7:00pm WED; noon–2:00pm SAT–SUN. Walk-in; need picture ID. Serves: all metro counties.
- Loaves & Fishes @ St. John the Wonderworker Parish — 404-577-6330, 543 Cherokee Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30313. Hot meal for the homeless 9:00–10:00am MON–FRI; brown bag lunch 10:00am–noon MON–FRI. Serves: all metro counties.
- New City Church Fairburn-City Bridges — 770-964-2138 ext. 130, 3355 Old Jonesboro Rd., Fairburn, GA 30213. 2:00–4:00pm TUE; 10:00am–noon SAT. Serves: all metro counties.
- New City Church Peachtree City — 770-964-2138 ext. 102, 320 Dividend Dr., Peachtree City, GA 30269 (rear of the building). 10:00am–noon WED; 10:00am–noon 2nd SAT. Serves: all metro counties.
- Sprayberry Community Group @ Piedmont Church — 570 Piedmont Rd., Marietta, GA 30066. 4:00pm–6:00pm WED. Serves: all metro counties.
Meal Assistance
- The Zone — 32 Fairground St. NE, Marietta, GA 30060. Three meals a day, seven days a week. Lunch at noon; dinner at 5:00pm. Serves: Cobb.
- CHRIS 180 — distributing meals across the Atlanta community. Southside and Eastside residents in need must call for a reservation by noon MON & THU. Southside: 470-218-7037. Eastside: 404-451-6454. Serves: Fulton.
- AT-PROMISE Center (Westside) — 404-346-2693, 740 Cameron M. Alexander Blvd., Atlanta, GA. 11:00am–2:00pm MON–FRI.
- Good Word Brewing & Public House — 404-973-2077, 85 Main St. NW, Duluth, GA. Serving soup noon–9:00pm SUN. They will serve anyone who is hungry, especially restaurant workers. Serves: all metro counties.
Grocery Delivery Services
- City of Atlanta Senior Food Assistance Program — application form bit.ly/SeniorATL. Call 311 or 404-546-0311 for help. For seniors 60+, low income, not in another senior food assistance program, who are unable to leave home, prepare meals, or use commercial delivery services.
- Atlanta Survival Program (atlsurvival.org) — for those self-isolating due to age and/or medical conditions, who can't afford grocery delivery, are sick and cannot leave home, or live in a food desert. Serves: all metro counties.
- Concrete Jungle — for individuals quarantined or with health issues worsened by exposure to COVID-19. Fill out the form at bit.ly/ConcreteJungle20. Full Cart (fullcart.org) is helping those affected by COVID-19 with a bag of groceries.
- ICNA Relief — 404-358-5030. Food boxes for those 60+ and those with medical conditions. Serves: Fulton.
- Support Smyrna — the City of Smyrna and the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation are assisting residents. Apply for funds to buy groceries at bit.ly/SupportSmyrna (proof of residence required).
