Legacy at Herndon Square Phase II Opens

Legacy at Herndon Square opened August 28 with 201 mixed-income apartments, one, two, and three-bedroom homes.

The development is the second phase of the larger Herndon Square redevelopment and was developed through a partnership involving Atlanta Housing, Hunt Companies, Pennrose, and Oakwood Development Group.

Why this matters

The project adds new housing to Atlanta's Westside and continues the redevelopment of the former Herndon Homes community into a larger mixed-income neighborhood.
