The Downtown Connector

If you've driven along the Downtown Connector, you've seen homeless camps under the bridges and overpasses. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has placed giant boulders and rocks under the bridges to deter the homeless from setting up camps.

These settlements have been there for years; however, GDOT reports that these are high-risk areas and a safety hazard due to fires allegedly set by the homeless.
